An important part of our series on Baby Stepping your Way to Better Health will be to remove grains from your diet during the healing period (and beyond if you so choose).
Easy success comes in a complete resource guide on how to do just that. Go Grain-Free: Cooking for Ancestral and Healing Diets is the ultimate guide on grain-free cooking.
I know how difficult this process is. We began our healing journey in April 2011, and it was the most difficult thing this former sugar addict has ever done.
‘What can we eat?’ is the #1 question readers ask me.
Dr. Jill Tieman of Real Food Forager has just released a new program that will show you step-by-step how to become proficient in the kitchen while following diets such as GAPS, SCD, and Paleo.
You will learn to:
- Bake with grain-free flours such as nut flours and coconut flour;
- Properly prepare nuts and seeds for easy digestion;
- Make nutritious breakfasts with waffles and pancakes, that are low carb, grain-free and taste better than those made with grains;
- Cook traditional meals with chicken, meat and fish that will satisfy even the pickiest eater — all without grains;
- Put together snacks like energy bars and granola that are full of nutrients rather than empty calories;
- Save money by making your own real food staples and condiments;
- Make a grain-free lunch wrap that really works;
- Save time by cooking in bulk and storing;
- Bake the most delicious and nutritious carrot muffins ever!

This class looks awesome!!!
I want to go grain free so I can heal my gut, and become less sensitive to the foods I love and miss like bananas, apples, spices, and other fruits and vegetables.
I am gluten free and avoiding all 36 allergens, but feel like it’s not enough. I think grain free is what I need to do, but it’s so overwhelming, especially when I have mu family to consider! I would love to learn how to make grain free meals.
I’m a 16 year old high school girl who is trying to find the best diet to fit my body. I’ve tried mostly paleo, plant based, etc… and the result has been a diet that’s very healthy and full of veggies and grains. However, lately I’ve lost a lot of weight (odd because all my life I’d had a problem with being a bit chubby) and I’m currently underweight at 94 pounds on my 5 foot 2 1/2 inch frame. I’m puzzled, although not displeased, but I’m going to do a bit more testing with my diet to see if I can fix the issue. I enjoy making and eating grain-free foods, so I think this course would help me a lot in finding a solution.
We are already semi grain free, so I would love new ideas!

I’ve been thinking about attempting grain free in hopes of curing my daughter’s psoriasis … just feeling a little overwhelmed with getting started. Great giveaway!
I am considering going totally grain free in order to help completely heal my gut and immune system from SLE (Lupus). I have done well lately with an alternative treatment, but I know there is greater healing needed in my gut. I would love to have access to the great information, help and recipes that will be available in this class!
Thank you for hosting this giveaway!
We’re going grain free to heal my daughter. She has severe eczema, asthma, multiple food allergies. We’re trying to heal her and improve the health of the rest of us in the process!
I was told that I needed to be on a strict paleo, FODMAPS, and rotation of my foods to heal form 10 yrs of GERD and IBS. I soooo very much would love to have a REAL food book that has grain free recipes so I can heal and begin to heal my 3 kids with leaky gut also!
We are on gaps and I am trying to have food around here to eat for my husband and 5 children. I need this!
Thank you everyone for sharing your stories! I am taking notes on how to better help all of my readers in the coming months.
